DD033 ‘The Fly Peril’ ‘Destroy All Flies’, Dublin Corporation Hygiene Poster, 1914
In 1914 Charles Cameron reported that: ‘there is now no subject of more vital importance relating to the Public Health than that referring to insects as carriers of disease’. Posters and leaflets referring to ‘the fly peril’ conveyed this message to the citizens of Dublin.
