Children Bathing Doll Photograph from the Aloysius Kane Collection

This charming photograph shows children in a doorway, a scene typical of 20th century Dublin. It is part of a collection dating from the middle years of the century and wastaken by Aloysius Kane, a talented photographer who was a founder member and first Honorary Secretary of the Dublin Amateur Camera Club. This photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1970s.

The Kane collection held by Dublin City Library and Archive also holds some of Aloysius Kane’s papers.
